Mill Operator

Green Plains Cattle Eckley, LLC has an immediate opening for a Mill Operator.
Green Plains Cattle Eckley, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Plains Inc., North America's fourth largest ethanol producer, ranked 8th on Fortune's 100 Fastest Growing Company list in 2011.
Green Plains currently operates a total of twelve ethanol plants in six states. We also market and distribute ethanol for independent third-party ethanol producers, and operate grain storage facilities in a number of states. We are a growth company and we seek to continue our growth by adding grain storage facilities, ethanol plants, fueling terminals and more.
RequirementsEssential Duties And Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Review daily assignment.
Assist in receiving commodities and determining moisture content.
Closely watch roll corrugation to maintain flake quality and production output.
Participate in all aspects of the feed milling operation.
Prepare production records.
Maintain general housekeeping in and around the mill area.
Perform and/or assist in preventative maintenance and repair of mill equipment.
Comply with all ISO/HACCP and OSHA/Safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/
Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three month's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
